Welcome to CozyPal. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CozyPal, governing your access to and use of the CozyPal mobile application, website, and related services (collectively referred to as the "Service").

CozyPal provides a social experience centered around private communication, including one-on-one chats, group chats, AI companionship and interaction, and auxiliary tools for daily life logging. We are committed to creating a quiet, safe, and respectful environment that honors personal boundaries.

By downloading, accessing, or using CozyPal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility

• You must be eligible and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
• You confirm that the information you provide during registration and use is truthful, accurate, and complete.

If it is discovered that a user does not meet the above eligibility criteria or has provided false information, CozyPal reserves the right to suspend or terminate their account.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account and login credentials.
• You may not transfer, lend, or provide your account for use by any third party.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

If you discover any unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately.

3. Description of Services

The services provided by CozyPal include, but are not limited to:

• Social features such as browsing user profiles, one-on-one chats, and group discussions.
• Group chat functions based on interests or geographical location (no public community or news feed features are provided).
• AI intelligent companionship and interaction features.
• Lifestyle tools, including dietary logging (calorie estimation based on images) and pet analysis features.

CozyPal is not a dating platform, a medical service, a psychological counseling platform, or any form of professional advisory service.

4. Disclaimer for AI Intelligent Companionship Function

• The AI intelligent companionship function is for companionship and entertainment purposes only.
• The AI does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or other professional advice.
• Conversations with the AI consist of automated, simulated generated content.
• Do not make important decisions regarding health, finances, or personal safety based on AI responses.

Content generated based on AI is for reference only and does not constitute professional advice such as medical or legal counsel. Users bear the risk of decisions made based on such content, and CozyPal assumes no liability.

5. User Conduct Guidelines

When using CozyPal, you must comply with laws, regulations, or customs and respect others. You agree not to engage in the following activities:

• Harassing, threatening, abusing, or harming other users;
• Posting hateful, pornographic, vulgar, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable content;
• Engaging in scams, fraud, impersonation, or misleading behavior;
• Disclosing others' private or sensitive information without permission;
• Conducting unauthorized commercial promotions or marketing activities.

CozyPal maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment, fraud, and any form of abusive behavior.

6. User Content

• You retain ownership of the content you create and upload within CozyPal, including but not limited to one-on-one chat messages, group chat messages, profile information, personal album pictures, and images and records used for food or pet analysis.
• You grant CozyPal the right to use, store, and display the content you publish to the extent necessary for providing and improving this Service. This grant does not affect your ownership of the content.
• You warrant that you have the legal rights to the content you publish and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

CozyPal will not sell the content of your one-on-one chats or your personal information.

7. Group and Platform Management

• CozyPal has the right to review or remove content that violates these Terms, group rules, or platform usage rules.
• CozyPal may suspend or terminate a user's account if the user poses a violation or security risk.
• Users can report inappropriate behavior through in-app channels.

We are committed to maintaining a quiet, friendly, and respected private chat and group communication environment.

8. Privacy Protection

Your use of CozyPal is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Our privacy principles include:

• Users control who can view their profile and interact with them;
• Implementing reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data security;
• Not selling users' private chat content or personal content.

9. Disclaimer for Health and Lifestyle Features

• Dietary logging and calorie recognition are estimated results only and do not constitute medical or nutritional advice.
• The pet diary function is for logging and sharing purposes only and does not constitute veterinary advice.
• For health, dietary, or pet medical issues, please consult a professional.

10. Third-Party Services

CozyPal may contain third-party services or links:

• CozyPal is not responsible for third-party services or content;
• Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies;
• Any transactions or communications you have with such third parties, or participation in promotions by such third parties, and any terms, conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such transactions or promotions, are solely between you and such third parties;
• CozyPal is not responsible for, nor does it endorse, any features, content, advertisements, products, services, or other materials on or available from third-party websites.

11. Termination of Service

• You may stop using CozyPal at any time.
• CozyPal reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, pose a risk to other users or the group communication environment, or if required by laws and regulations.

Upon termination of service, your right to continue using the Service will cease immediately.

12. Disclaimer

CozyPal provides the Service "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, CozyPal expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• CozyPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages;
• CozyPal is not responsible for user-generated content or interactions between users;
• If you are dissatisfied with the Service experience, you may choose to stop using CozyPal at any time. We also welcome your feedback to help us continuously improve the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CozyPal and its affiliates from and against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service;
• Content you publish;
• Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the State of California, unless otherwise mandatorily required by law.

16. Modifications to the Terms

CozyPal reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time.

• In case of material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or by reasonable means;
• Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
